The thank-you card you will make
These three exclusive fonts are created from real handwriting samples. Willow Notes gives the gift card a compact, personal feel; Paper Letters adds softer, rounded letters to the order insert; Library Notes suits the longer teacher letter.
Before you start
Each example below already has its paper size and layout set. Open it, replace the name and personal detail, then review the handwriting. Download JPEG to send as an image or PDF to print at the example’s finished size.
Step 1
Add a personal detail to your thank-you
The three examples show the finished format alongside the message: a gift card, a teacher letter, and a small order insert. Replace the names and details. Each example opens at the size shown, with the spacing already set.
For a gift
Dear Maya, Thank you for the beautiful cookbook. I tried the lemon cake on Sunday, and it was a hit. I cannot wait to bake something together. With love, Alex
Replace the cookbook and lemon cake with the gift and how you used it. Willow Notes and the 7×5 landscape card are already set up.
Make this gift thank-youFor a teacher
Dear Ms. Taylor, Thank you for helping me find the confidence to speak up in class. Your encouragement made a real difference this year. When I got stuck on my presentation, you helped me break it into smaller steps. I felt proud to share my work, and I still use that approach whenever a task feels too big. With appreciation, Alex
Describe a moment when their help mattered. Library Notes gives the longer letter a personal feel, with room for both paragraphs on A5 stationery.
Make this teacher thank-youFor a shop order
Hi Jordan, Thank you for supporting our little shop. We hope your new notebook becomes a home for good ideas. Enjoy your first page! Warmly, Alex at Paper & Pine
Replace the product and shop name. Paper Letters adds a light, rounded hand to this compact 6×4 insert. Edit each recipient’s note individually.

See the character of real handwriting
Compare the same English message in three exclusive fonts made from real handwriting samples. Willow Notes is compact, Paper Letters is light and rounded, and Library Notes gives a different everyday hand. The letter shapes make the difference; the paper size and spacing stay the same.
Open the same gift message in Paper Letters, then replace it with your own words.
Try Paper LettersBefore moving on: Read the recipient’s name and the longest sentence without zooming in. Keep the handwriting easy to read before adding more variation.
Step 3
Give the message room to breathe
Compare the two layouts below. The first has tight lines and almost no border; the second adds paragraph breaks and more space around the message. Use the second as your starting point.
If your message runs onto a second page, remove a repeated thought before reducing the font size. Keep the name and sign-off together with the message.
Before moving on: The preview contains one complete card. No letters touch the edge, and the sign-off has its own space.
Step 4
Save an image or print at the size shown
For a message or email attachment, choose JPEG and download the page. For printing, download PDF and match the paper to the example: 7×5 inches for the gift card, 6×4 inches for the order insert, or A5 for the teacher letter. Print at actual size or 100%.
Check names and punctuation in the downloaded file. Test on ordinary paper before using card stock; use a paper size and thickness your printer supports. Each file is a single-sided card or letter, not a folded-card layout.
Before moving on: The downloaded file includes the full message. Its page size and orientation match the example and the paper in your printer.
Make the next thank-you in your own handwriting
Create a reusable font from a clear photo of your handwriting in FontKind AI. Use the same account, then return to this editor and find your completed font under My fonts. Replace the example’s font and preview your message.
Check that the font supports the characters you need. After switching, review the recipient’s name and make sure the full message still fits on the card.
Fix common problems
The message spills onto another page
Shorten the body first. Keep one thank-you and one specific detail, then check the preview again. If you need a longer letter, switch to A5 or A4 and review the layout.
A name or accented letter looks wrong
Check the font coverage warning and try another font that supports every character. Review the full name before downloading.
The printed size does not match the example
Check the PDF page size and orientation, then print at 100%. The examples are 7×5 inches, 6×4 inches, and A5. If you use larger paper such as A4 or Letter, keep the original size and trim the sheet.
